Hydroelectric Plant Tour

TMWA’s Verdi Hydroelectric Plant produces electricity from water flowing down the Truckee River.This hydroelectric plant has been creating clean, renewable energy directly from the Truckee River for over 100 years! Participants will see how TMWA has made this historic workhorse remain a powerful modern asset that helps keep operational costs down when river flows are steady.
