Oxbow Nature Study Area Tour

Presented by Nevada Department of Wildlife

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is tasked with conserving wildlife and their habitats for the citizens of Nevada as well as promoting boating and water safety on our waterways! Please join them at Oxbow Nature Study Area for a discussion of some of the tools they use to complete this work as well as get to know your Nature Study Area found near downtown Reno!

The park has parking for 10-15 vehicles, if that is full, please feel free to park up along the street on Dickerson Road. Please make sure to not block any fire lanes or parking that is used by residents.

If the path is flooded, access via wheelchair would be limited. Participants will learn about a potential career as a Wildlife Biologist. Participants are asked to wear closed toed shoes. For more information visit ndow.org.
