An Evening with Dr. Zeb Hogan
Presented by Northern Nevada Science & Technology Festival
The travels of Dr. Zeb Hogan, Research Associate Professor in the College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, have taken him from Mongolia to the Pacific Northwest, Thailand to Australia. The purpose? A singular focus on finding, studying and protecting the world’s largest freshwater fish, an effort to bring attention to the increasingly fragile ecosystems and their endangered inhabitants. Learn about what drove Dr. Hogan to pursue his research, and hear firsthand about the many places he has visited in this excited presentation.
Attendees wil also have the ability to purchase a pre-release copy of Dr. Hogan’s new booked titled, “Chasing Giants,” published by University of Nevada Press.
